The Big Danish Crackhouse.

30° heat, and my aunty decides to take us on a walk through the countryside...
which pushes me to question her sanity
...
and my own sanity for joining her.
...
Boiling hot weather, trekking to some distant wildlife reserve and

my six year old sister shouts ...

ARE WE GOING TO THE CRACK HOUSE YET ?
In her squeaky innocent voice.
One of the funniest moments of my lifetime, without a doubt.
....
Allow me to explain
So I'm currently visiting my aunt and uncle in Demark ....

And theres this place here called Christianshavn
with self goverened people, so they arent under the durastiction of the law,
Its kinda like a mini city
.. complicated story..

It's a tourist attraction, but tends to attract the bad crowd because drugs are sorta legalized there.
Anywho, the place seems so nice and calm, until you walk through a 'out of the way entrance' into what looks like a giant CRACK HOUSE ...

filled with drug users, tourists, hippies, and travellers ....

and for some reason my
MUM
..
DAD
..
AUNT
..
and UNCLE (who is a pastor btw)
decided that its a tourist attraction worth visiting ...
Ummmm ... I kept querying why we were going to the CRACK HOUSE ??

None of us use drugs or any substances, we don't even smoke.

So it was quite comical to visit this
'CRACK NEIGHBOURHOOD'
I'll set the scene
...
Crack'eds just passed out on the grass.
20 smackeds lined off on the wall.
Some old man threw his bike down the stairs and climbed over the wall to sit in a bush.
My dad was offered weed a couple times, cause thats normal.
The whole place was generally happy due to the smell and general existence of drugs in full view.
One woman was chasing the other with a large container filled with 'MeowMeow',
and we had a glass bottle filled with a unidentified substance launched at us.

My mum didn't enjoy it half as much as she thought she would.
Enough said.
Still Aspiring
